2005/04/07 Club Competition Don't miss out at this full on time bomb scenario game on Saturday 1 May 2005! This will be 3 man team event SWAT style game with loads of space in the Blue Gums. "Prop vol aksie" ..... Do you feel lucky PUNK?

Rules: One team protects the bomb outside of it's blast radius (+/- 10meters) and the other team has to defuse it with in 20min. Sound like fun yet...no? Then here's the catch. One team member has to hold the bomb for 1min before the game ends. Too easy on defenders? Not really ...Attacking team may enter the playing field from any side they choose.

2005/04/11 We were at the SANPA 7 man tournament at CPS this weekend.  I must say it was unbelievable! Firstly our brothers at Impact treated us like VIP's. (big thank you guy's) They lost to Reapers in their first game, but regrouped and there was no stopping them from then on. W4RP4TH (our only honorary club member) played a mean back game. Impact under Andrew Meyer's lead was outstanding and won the first SANPA 7 man tourney in the country. Congratulations guy's! You showed us that the game can be won not playing the grey.

2005/04/11 What does it mean to play the grey? Playing the grey is where 2 rules contradict each other and the offending player is using it to his/her advantage. Playing the grey is cheating. You might get away doing it, but the penalties to you or your team are severe if a marshal enforces them. (remember when you are doing it someone on the side will form a different opinion of you and your team) Expect some bonus balls.

2005/04/14 SA 3man series. All members who would like to join this series contact the club captain.  This series is a regional event, with one or more national event in a year. I have spoken to the organizers of the series and It looks promising. I hope the club can enter at least 3 teams.  For more info go to www.controversy.za.net
